In the former public office building located in Kremlin, you can enjoy meeting a magnificent collection of ancient icons. This collection is worth a trip. <br><br>
The walls of ancient Detinets (as Novgorod inhabitants called their Kremlin) shelter a lot of archeological and historical treasures presented in museum exhibitions, the Russia's 1000 anniversary monument of 1862 and concert halls in which the Festival named of Sergey Rakhmaninov takes place. <br><br>
Magic, surprise, enchantment, enjoyment with life - that's all in the beauty and value of the historic city, from which the Russian land originated. It is not a matter of choice that UNESCO included Novgorod into its list of world historical heritage cities.
